The Glass Studio was established in 1982 by brothers and glass artists Stephen Smylie and Thomas Smylie. The Glass Studio specializes in custom designed residential art glass.

Our showroom has dozens of custom art glass pieces on display as well as a comprehensive, 10-volume, photographic portfolio showing more than 2,000 images of our original art glass.
Each portfolio volume illustrates our creative solutions for using art glass to restore historic detail, solve privacy requirements or simply transform plain window, door and ceiling openings into extraordinarily beautiful architectural features.
The Glass Studio is conveniently located on Castlefield Avenue in Toronto’s officially designated ‘Design and Décor’ district, with free parking right in front.
